SPAMbiking currently hold 3 off-road Challenge Events a year. Our events have a range of distances offered to riders of varying ability. By opening our events to such a range of people, we are not only encouraging as many riders as we can to come and take part, we are also maximising our profits, to enable us to make considerable donations to the charities of our choice.

One of our main beneificiaries is CLIC Sergant, the charity dealing with the effects of Cancer and Leukemia in Children. Our biggest event, The Winter Challenge supports this charity through our own donation of a chunk of the profits plus optional sponsorship from riders.

In addition to this charity, The Winter Challenge, The Whyte Solstice Challenge and The Lavington Blast all raise funds for locally based charities such as schools, playgroups, sporting facilities, the local Air Ambulance, hospitals and hospices. These charities are suggested by SPAM Members, and agreed at our Club Meetings.

Other donations are made to local schools and Army and Air Cadet forces in return for their help as Marshals at our events. This is a fantastic way of donating funds back to the community of volunteers that help make our events so successful.
