Quantocks Feb 2009

Some piccies from what was a cold (mud was freezing to the bikes) and windy but extremely enjoyable few hours on the Quantocks. Thanks to Phil for guiding and those who supplied excellent cakes. We didn't do many miles (Phil was slowing us down on his new bike) but again this little area of Somerset shows that it's a real gem and suits most levels of skill and fitness !

the start of the climb	new brake pads would have been good BEFORE the ride	shorts are the new winter apparel	who tilted the horizon
another steep hill conquered by the Chairman	praying to his new God at the top of Ladies Edge	singlespeed and the bugger still beats us to the top	the Gary Fisher riding smoothly over the leaves
a slightly pensive looking Mike	the usual trailside repirs	those baggy trousers bring out the best in my downhilling	aliens attacked my arms in Smiths Combe
